Just picked up a snes from a lady on CL. no cords though. She hasn't tested it, but it was her kids from years ago. I still am waiting for the cords and will use an old tv. I don't need a VCR for it to work right?

yea i hope. I'm skeptical if the snes even works. Room still being remodeled another 5 days. I picked up RE5 for ps3 today, but the guy sold me on the Card for 14.99. Saves you like 10 % and gets you Ps magazines for free.

I'm cool with asking MY questions just on this thread, but double posting should be allowed in case it doesn't get an answer

I'm going to be getting a big screen in the next week. Yes, I still would like to play retro systems. They say that the old systems don't look the same on a new tv. Should I keep my old tv or is there a (practical and easy) way to make it look the same as before?

Major Major problem. Ps3 continues to be a hassle. You see, this is why I was always bigger on the 360. Less technical issues. So I have a PS3 60 GB. I just recently got a controller, a wireless PS3 controller since you need one to get it to work and play. My controller does nothing. There is no battery that I see. I have no clue what to do. I'm so sad.

The first time a controller is used, you have to plug it in with the wire first and then hit the PS button on the controller. That way you "register" it to the PS3.

The wire???? I have to register? Where? Back 7 years ago when we played, I don't remember ever registering? How many more steps are there? Why do they do this to us???

Let's go step by step:

1. There is a wire for the controller, looking like this




2. The bigger size is inserted on the PS3 and the smaller side on the controller.

3. Hit the PS button on the controller.

4. ????

5. Profit.

I guess I'll have to look that over a little later. Playing Rayman right now on 360, the Origins game. I have NO clue where to go. I keep going to the snoring tree and keep ending up in the same spot over and over. How come they make the games like this???
