How is it NOT a stupid reason? What if he prefers the games on it? What if he just wants something cheaper to screw around on now-and-again? Saying "you're a grown man, buy a grown man system" is stupid as fuck reasoning to use when deciding what you want to buy.

I have a Wii U, because it was on sale for under $200 (and it was a Christmas gift) and I can't afford a Ps4 right now. I've had a lot of fun with the (limited) amount of games it has. But saying "you shouldnt get this because you're a grown man, get something else" is by far the worst reason you could give to not buy one.

I plan on buying a Ps4 eventually as well, but I don't regret getting the Wii U either.

That is not the only reason I gave or anything lol. I wanted to reinforce that he will be very very disappointed because he is not a child anymore and those franchises will not appeal to him like they used to. Because of his age, yes.

Hopsinshadie, it will be a very long time before I get a PS4. Get an Xbox One, you will not be disappointed I promise. Or get the first Wii but the Wii U doesn't have shit for it. You would be happy with an Xbox. You would be able to say "I have both the PS4 and Xbox One."

They are fun. But you'll play them and go "that's it?" DK is just as fun as it was on SNES have no worries about that. Mario has lost it for me a long time ago, the same thing over and over again gets tiring.

Trust me you will definitely be disappointed. I'm not saying it's not a good system and those aren't good games. I used to love Nintendo like I said earlier. But it's time to face the facts. The Wii U is a sorry excuse for a "next-gen" system, it would have fit much more in the last-gen. It does not hold up to Xbox One and PS4, it just doesn't.

Well it's definitely better than SNES you can even get SNES games on it lol. N64 was amazing. Now if we are talking the games themselves then idk. Probably N64 had the best games. It's the huge redeeming quality about Wii U, you can buy a bunch of the older games...but the older games kind of suck now. Sorry. I can't even play Ocarina of Time now.

Thankfully, I have more of a child like mind, which allows me to have more fun with than grumps like Kill You. I been playing Sonic 2 on GG and it's just as fun as it used to be, though I get frustrated I can't get past certain bosses.

I can't believe Kill You just threw SNES under the bus (I know SNES is not a person), like he has no respect.

Well, at least, I can get my happiness, so I'm more fortunate than him. I think I'll get a Wii u.
