I'm happy to announce that I'm about a week away from getting a new Wii U Console. After I get my check, I will be buying this console with Tropicle Freeze.

Here are the reasons why I'm choosing this over PS4, although I do tend to get PS4 before next year

1. I thought about it, if you're going to spend 299 or so, might as well just save up for a PS4. However, it still is a bit cheaper than PS4, but the thing is the games are cheaper considering there will games for Wii that I'm going to get and I never had a Wii.

2. PS4 still needs time to get its games and the games are pretty pricey right now. I'm still going to get a PS4, but right now is not the right time.

3. The exclusives you can't get anywhere else. Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, plus the 2 Donkey Kongs from Wii, Mario World, Luigi, Mario Kart, and Sonic BOOM. I'm buying this system because it has a good line of classics established. I want the PS4 but I feel that the PS4 hasn't established its library yet. There are still some good games on PS4, but I have a PS3 and still got to play the games on that that I have no played or beat. In 6 to 9 months due time, I may get a PS4.

You got both systems? What's your experience between the two? I still haven't decided on which one I want to purchase.

Despite people thinking that there might be minimal differences, the graphics gap actually is a pretty significant one...bullshit numbers here but 30-40%.

But that doesn't matter as far as games does it.

PS4: Generally more games, more new experiences in the future, better graphics.

Xbox One: Better apps, better online play, better voice chat quality, more of the same multiplayer games but that's just fine, I like halo and gears. But they do got some new shit coming.

I mean, PS4 is fantastic, but I see Xbox One being well worth it soon enough especially with the changes being made and prices dropping. I'd say either way you can't really go wrong, I can't see either system really failing.

I own both, and both are great consoles.

Also might be worth mentioning that starting in June Xbox One will be sold without the Kinnect and will be $100 cheeper.

Also in June - an update will roll out for XB1 with some great features.

The update will allow external HDD support. You will be able to have 2 external hard drives plugged in at the same time - Limit of 16TB (i think that's a combined total but not sure)

The update will also finally bring the console’s premium OneGuide TV guide integration feature to Canada/Europe.

-you can use Smartglass on your smartphone as a universal remote.

-Things like Netflix and other online apps will no longer require an XBL subscription.

Ever since Phil Spencer took over as head of the XBox division, he's been doing alot of good. Glad to see MS fixing and improving things.

I'm hoping to get a Ps4 this September. I've never been much of an Xbox fan just cause I feel the consoles are trying to be so much more than a games machine and it's a bit off-putting to me

Thats basically what xbone was going for, face it in the future we will have one machine that will literally do it all, microsoft wanted to be the first one to do it, but they tried to do it too fast and rushed it, this sort of thing will have to happen naturally and microsoft were just trying to force it to happen now

So I put a Wii U Mario Deluxe edition on layaway and I bought Mario Kart 8 in order to redeem it on Club Nintendo in time to get a free game and I chose Wind Waker. SO HYPE!!!!

I choose Wii U cause I now live with 3 other people that love Nintendo games so it's the ultimate home party console. Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros are gonna be so much fun. Plus Mario Party 10 next year and a bunch more stuff. I really hope the Wii U takes off and they dont abandon it.

Im actually debating getting a Wii U now.. i have the One and the 4, but like you said, the Wii U is just a solid party system for multiplayer games.. and now that they are releasing some good old classics like Mario Kart Smash Bros and Mario Party, i may pick one up for my living room.
