I just saw the trailer and it sucks. Nothing like the book.

The original books are always better than their film adaptations. :happy:

Yes these are exceptions, but usually the books are better imo .

But man PoA was nearly perfect.

I last read The Giver in middle school, but from what I remember of it, the trailer looks nothing like it.

Hello,
The Giver movie was OK but star cast quite unique. Director Phillip Noyce projects his story with a little suspense was nice attempt.
