I can't stand clowns neither.

The exorcist scared me too because of the legend around the movie, same with Poltergeist.

But the movie that scared me the most was The grudge (the asian one). I remember I had a terrible night that day. (and the next days too). I watched it in the cinema with friends, at first we were laughing thinking that was a terrible movie but after a while we were all scared. Probably all of us had a bad night.

I became inmune to horror movies after that one.

^ I don't blame you. That is a brainfucker.

These other scary movies are pretty simple, they take some thing scary and show it to you.

When I was younger, "Pet Sematary" fucked my life up. The shit with Zelda TERRIFIED me forever, that and the last like 20 minutes of the movie. I was (am) a horror fan tho so I loved it but it did terrify me :worship:

I remember Poltergeist scaring me a a kid.

And The Shining, particularly the room 237 scene, is still chilling. *shivers*

I still find it haunting, actually. I was scared stiff at some parts when I saw it in the theaters for the first time. That and Sixth Sense are proof that your movie doesn't need to be an R-rated gore fest to be effective.

it's actually not a horror movie but its so brutal in a different way

Does anyone know "Faces of Death" from 1978 ?
There is one scene with a monkey , a few people sitting around him and eating him alive .(His Brain with a spoon :locked: )
The Problem is it is a documentry with real material and and sometimes identified sequences.
