Because the other teams just park the bus and are not even trying, because it's Spain. Unlike them, Portugal and Italy are/were trying, which makes Spain play their best.

Gotta give credit to Italy for reaching the final. Nobody expected them to get anywhere near this far and their match against Germany was an amazing achievement.

This Spain side is possibly the greatest side of all time. It's like the whole tournament they've been playing in 1st gear and then they decided to switch it up a few for the final. Masterful performance.
