Penalty or not?

Personally I don't think that was a pen as there was hardly any contact (Like Derry's red card against Utd last week where there was no contact) though the ref's and linesmen tend to give fouls for very little contact in La Liga from what I've seen. Also the fact that it's Barca, the officials may be inclined to give the decision towards them as they don't want a media/fan backlash. The big clubs tend to get the big decisions.

I feel like this is an okay penalty, I mean some ref could call the penalty and some wouldn't. He pushed him with his hand, it's clear that Cuenca maybe exaggerated it but I don't think it's like, the worse penalty ever given.

Watch that second penalty against Milan.. That was undeserved and totally stupid.

He pushed him with his arms, the other guy fell pretty fast and the referee saw that he used his arms, and the first thing they tell you in a football team is NOT to push the other players with your arms.

It would have been much more helpful for Barca if the ref didn't charge that penalty against them in the first half, a doubtful penalty to say the least. Its evident you didn't even watch the game.

It wasnt a harsh foul, but there was enough contact for the ref to call the penalty. Barcelona is benefited by the referees as much as any other important team. People just hate on success.
