Relapse inspired TR logos

Late as fuck lol, too bad I didn't have these during the Relapse era. While drawing out the TR too look like BME, I remembered I had these that I'd share. Check out that pattern.

I asked him this last year and this is what he said .

I used the eurostile P and drew the x shape. then I selected both the shapes and used the "combine" pathfinder command to turn it into one single shape.



When I type something out I just use the normal R as a placeholder, then create outlines out of the text and replace the R with the Rx symbol, making sure it's the same exact size.

Then for the rest I just use the appearance panel for the extra strokes and fills. and draw a red line.

The font used is Eurostile. I took the Eurostile P and drew the X part on it and then combined them into one shape to make the Rx. The "use this" is exactly how the font is used on Relapse, with kerning and spacing set up, so I just keep that so I don't have to go back and adjust it. Then I typed what I wanted (TRSHADY) and outlined the text for it to become shapes, and inserted the Rx symbol in place of the P. After that I had to create a whole bunch of fills and strokes to get the Relapse look, this part took the longest. You can see all the shapes that actualy go into it by looking at the outlines. Then I saved the appearance style so whenever I want to type something I just copy "use this," replace it with what I want to type, and then apply the saved style with just one click.
