eminem deservs better fans

first off every time i look at any eminem album discusion for some dumb ass reason all i ever see is people constantly trying to compare anything new eminem does to something older he does. imo i just think it's not really fair to an artist to allways compare something as great as the mmlp (that was made in 2000) to every thing he does today (2010). we all know how good mmlp was and for any true em fan that album will always remain amongst the greats but im sick of people saying that the shit he's spitting now is shit because it's not better than that album. its like people dont realize he always goes for something different for every album. personaly i prefer recovery over mmlp and not because its better but because it's newer and as far as lyrics i appriciate the maturity he shows in his songs and does it with the illist wordplay, punchlines, and story telling than any other rapper today ever could.
secondly i dont know how any one could call them selfs a fan of eminem when all they can talk about is "i wish em would go back to the way he was in sslp".....and em reconizes this and he trys to give the fans what they want by making the relapse album and still trys giving new material. but no it wasnt good enough because then the fans wanted something more along the lines of mmlp and tes with the more emotional tracks, and tracks where he just spits fire. well then he gives that to his fans as well and imo recovery was the best of mmlp and tes combined but then other fans say its lame basicly because its not mmlp. my question is what the fuck do eminem fans really want from him. personally i dont want another cd bashing boybands, celeberties all the way through and talking about his mom and kim again because we've already heard it. am i the only one who feels this way?
em just keep doing your thing and putting out great music because your true fans are still listening and appriciating real talent.
all im trying to say is everything eminem does is picked apart by his own fans and desevs to be regonized for the true talent that he brings to the table.

the majority of fans regard Recovery as a great album. Eminem fans will always compare his stuff to earlier work because Eminem had set such a high bar/level for himself. Nothing wrong with that, only a few have said Recovery is shit/overrated. For me it is a great album, but compared to MMLP/TES it lacks something even though i love the content on Recovery. Less singing on hooks and 2 or 3 Eminem or Dre beats would have made this album better than TES for me.
