Add a drug board.

Add a drug board to Afterparty, similar to backstage. It even makes sense to have "drugs" at an "afterparty". Plus drugs are such a huge part of music culture, especially hip hop.

Abram is a mod and he can moderate it, so don't mistake this as a ploy to get a green name. I just think it's a great idea and won't clog up backstage with drug/alcohol threads like I've seen members complain about.

I know this has been brought up in the past but I would like to get TR's take on it. Obviously the board would encourage responsible uses and deals would not be made on this website. It would strictly be discussion only.

I doubt TR would be cool with this, he wants it to be friendly forum. Not too bad for the kids (which is why we can't have nudity.

I say we just turn the Backstage into the drug forum.

But these threads are being made regardless, they're just showing up in backstage. At least with a dedicated board rules could be created and enforced. You could also put an 18+ restriction on it or something.

I'm not saying it makes sense, but it's the way TR wants it.

I wish we had a drug forum. We could delete Graphics & Computer & Technology, and just have a drug section.

It really just depends on how SajN feels about it, and if he thinks TR would go for it.

TR pays for the server, so it's up to him

tbh I don't see the logic in not having this. Eminem's music is all about drugs. You're a fan of Eminem, you know about drugs.

This is coming from someone who wouldn't even have anything to add to that board.. I don't use drugs.

You guys can talk about drugs in backstage. You can make a thread for that. I don't see the point in having a drug board. Then we can make another about fashion, another for hair, another for studies....This is an Eminem forum.

Eminem talks about drugs, but he also talks about his daughers and we don't have a board about that. And even their pics can't be posted. So that's not an argument.

We talk about it. Drugs are referenced on this forum every single day. Much more than fashion or even Eminem's daughters. It's more a part of hip hop culture than most of the boards on this site. I don't know why we have sections like 'Comedy Crib' and all that but we can't have a tiny little board near backstage about drugs.

You have a point there, there are sections that has nothing to do with Eminem.

But I think a drug board wouldn't be apropiate maybe in a place full of underage people.
I don't really care if you guys want to do it and Trshady agree is ok with me. But under my opinion is not the best of the ideas.

I see what you're saying but drugs are illegal at every age. So a 16 year old is technically no more "underage" than a 26 year old. Illegal drugs are illegal. It's either yes, or no. It shouldn't depend on who frequents the forum.

I do see where you're coming from though. I definitely won't be throwing any tantrums if this is declined.

I'm happy for you to make the cool, it's more your forum then it is mine. My opinion though, is that I don't feel it warrants it's own forum, it's not like drugs represents a majority percentage of threads in the section. Also, having a section there encourages if, which I'm not sure is what we want - ultimately it's a positive forum, not in the sappy romantic sense of the term - but in the values we've always wanted to instil.

This is what TR said. So according to him (the first sentence), it's up to me even though he gave his 2 cents.

In some way I agree with him, but at the same time, I wouldn't mind that section. I am kinda in the middle.

What do you say if we make that section we have few settings like:

Only members can see and access the section
The section will not be visible (not even for members) from the index page
It will be a subsection of Backstage.

I am also thinking we should have some rules like "you cannot sell or request to buy any type of illegal drug in this forum from a member."

Help me out here.
