I don't think we should use old pics, model it after 8 Mile, or anything else that nods to old times (although I love that banner, Fiasco) because the main thing people like to complain about is that the board is "stuck in 2005", and I think that would only compound that. Waiting for more info/album art/title/etc on the album seems like the best course of action to me.

Thanks and yeah I get what you're saying. I had another idea of making a banner that would like like that cover from Spin magazine, and actually using that picture. I may make one myself.

I think whenever Em announces the album date, the new banner should have a current promo pic of him and that says "Coming ______". When it's out, you can just remove the release date from it.

A banner change is something I'm always open too - anything I'm presented with, I'll add if the community prefere it. I'm also working with SajN to give him server access, where he'll be able to carry out changes that have previously not been possible. As for a graphical update, I've spoken to a designer or two, but it's a project that requires close collaboration with myself who'll be implementing the design. I've emailed a designer buddy again now, I'ma to ask him to mock up an incremental update to bring the design into 2013 - I'll then post it here, if it's favoured, I'll have it happen. Will hopefully have something posted here in the next two weeks.

Cool. If he can make a nice banner like a GIF Image, it would be cool and nothing like we ever had before.

And, new Eminem News is not gonna come any time sooner. I thought till it comes, we'll have a banner up that shows him touring. Just a simple one, once we get the Booklet for the Album we can alter this. But, seeing the discontent for change, I don't think that's possible. What the fucks up with this place?
