What Technical Aspects Does The Forum Lack (In Your Opinion)

I don't think a 'quick reply' will bring in new members and make em stay active, it's that gay ass post approval. I know it's helping out the forum from the bots and spamming, but nobody is going to wait all day for a mod to approve their message, delete that and this forum will be on it's way. Nothing really needs to be changed here, the banner, the layout and everything is fine here. Nothing needs to be added or taken away (except for that post approval).

thats exactly what we are going to do when TR finds the best way to get rid of bots, right now if we didn't had post approval, then nobody would want to join either, beacuse the place would be actually packed with bots, EVERY post.... EVERY POST man!

somehow they are able to get past Captcha and the "Secret" question. Its like the bot programmers stepped their game up or something

Considering the fact that this site is kind of like their rival, I think the system here offered some inspiration.

here's a problem that bugs me alot:

Let's say I just viewd the last post in a certain thread on my PC. If I log on from my laptop or any other device in the world, it's like I never read that post and still says unread, everytime I open from another place it gets annoying as fuck, especially long threads, let's say i've read all 175 pages of a thread, if i click view new posts from another device and last time I checked that thread from that device was at page 150, it redirects me to page 150

Disagree, and pretty sure many others will as well.

It will just lead to repping friends and popular members no matter what their posts contains, and negging the people they dislike no matter what their posts contains.

It will be a game of popularity (like it isn't already).

Hope you guys figure out something quick cause it's been kinda dull lately, usually when stuff is fun around forums is when a member is either bringing some entertainment to the table, or some new Em shit pops out of no where and gets all of us something to talk about about.

I've only ever been reactive to server issues, I'm now being proactive and so server issues should fizzle out over the coming days and weeks. Forum threads and news have returned to the main website. I'll use this as my updates for ya'll.

And is there a way to easily find my post in one of the huge posts, and remove it so that it stops showing up in the "View your posts" sort?

EDIT: I also like the idea of a reddit-like upvote/downvote system for every post on the forums. That way, if someone agrees with a post, they can just upvote it and the thread won't get flooded with unnecessary fluff.

And even better, if someone disagrees, they can just downvote the post instead of causing a bunch of shit. I think it would make things much smoother.
