i cant put a photo on my avatar

Make sure it's 120px wide and 140px high, or less, cause that's the maximum avatar size allowed.

resize it usin ps

THEN I DO IT AND IT SAYS: This file cannot be displayed because the extension bmp is not allowed.

What is ps?
