Same here it really sucks. The site now didn't work for me for about 3 or 4 days. Pisses me off. 3 days that's a record wtf is up with the server

a server restart brings it back temporarily but I'm yet to have a more permanent solution in place.
I haven't had time this week, but will spend some time this weekend trying to improve the situation.

All I can do is apologise people, the number of new visitors is growing daily and the server should be able to handle it - support from the hosting company has been useless so I'm alone here. Will soldier on and see what can be done.

why don't you shut the site down for a week and work on the issue, I mean set a start/stop date and have all issues fixed during a time frame of YOUR liking, that way all members know the status and don't lose intrest in the forum as well
take your time to figure the problem, once that's done close it down for a bit and finish the problem
