Open links in the same page instead of say in a new tab?

Like when someone has posted a link in a thread and you click on it the link will open in the tab you have the thread open on instead of opening in a new tab?

I know it is not a big deal but it would be nice if the link opened in a new tab so you still have the thread you where reading in the original tab lol

I right click, it's just getting used to it, which happens after the second link you fuck up on...annoying yes, inconvenient....not really
