Her appeal is she can sing, sounds fresh and doesnt sell sex like alot of female artists (Rihanna, Katy Perry, Briteny, Lady Gaga etc).

On top of that, her music is relatable yet slightly more thought-out compared to a Taylor Swift for example. Add to that great production and you've got a worthy world leader in pop music.
