It's innate moral logic that stems from altruistic behaviour.

In order to progress in social groups you need to see others as yourself and therefore do to them as you would to yourself. It's all down to empathy.

Morality didn't come from religion, or philosophy - it's innate in humans from the start. The only thing that has gotten more complex about it, is our understanding of it. Philosophy helps spell it out in language and show what it is.
