Holy shit, they did that? I wonder if my school ever did that after I graduated, I wouldn't be surprised.

Anyways, it's pretty gay if you ask me. Do people really get offended by that? It doesn't affect you whatsoever. Pretty soon we're not going to be allowed to say "God bless you" when someone sneezes.

There was talk in Australia for a while of changing Australia Day to Citizen's Day, because our multicultural citizens weren't feeling included enough.

LOL Citizen's Day...why wouldn't you want to celebrate a day dedicated to the country your LIVING IN! Politically incorrect is more accurate, but I could picture Canada changing Canada Day to Citizen's Day because we're mostly a bunch of fuckin' pussies.

It's amazing to me just how differently politicians think to the rest of our country. I mean, I don't want sone slack-jawed derro in parliament but there definitely needs to be a stronger voice for the working class.

For me it's got to become "Happy Holidays".

I love the decoations others do and the chilly nip in the weather... While I do celebrate Christmas, me and my girls bake a cake and try to hold onto the true intentions of this day.

I've weaned them off gifts and now give them $$ and most times they hang onto it and save it or buy clothes they needed.

This year me and one of my girls is going to pool and pay her braces down to just a few more payments. I think, that is really great of her to do.

She also saved up her birthday $ and just got a very nice gaming computer and gave me her old computer so I can game on 2 (I play AION).

I think no matter what anyone calls it - its' a nice way to close out the year and remember those that are in your lives... toast to memories past and talk about hopes for the future
