but... i mean... a relationship is..... cumunicating with sumone and trust and making plans and sharing dreams.... its like, a connection.... so how can u say if u have all those things that its not an actual relationship?

U were given speech ability and charisma(if ofcourse u have any) for a reason, besides, there so much about a person that u cannot discover on the internet.

If internet relationships are no different from real life than one should be able to socialise in the real world as easy as on the internet.

Its comunication, no doubt, sort of like a search engine for people but not a means of relationship.

as far as ther bein a lot of stuff that u cant find out about the person..... sumone can just as easily be keepin sumthin from u that live right next to u.... a lot of people live double lives.. i mean... u can get killed by ur own wife or husband.... just watch forensic files on court t.v. ...... and lots of people that have normal social lifes do it.... i mean... im very socially capable.... it just so happens that .... never mind.....

im not talking about lies.... im talking about the miracle of real live conversation and real life common interest.

i know a few couples who met on the internet and are together today in "real life", but they were all from Denmark, i've never heard about ppl from different countries who met on the net n actually hooked up in real life later but they probably exist...
as for me, i don't think an internet relationship is a real relationship 'cause that takes physical presence somehow - besides it's very easy to lie to other ppl over the net, i mean, i might be a 6 foot tall, 40 year old American gay paedophile guy who hates Eminem n u'd never know

if an internet relationship is to work u need to be able to meet in real life, otherwise ur just living in a dream world, which is, admittedly, quite nice for awhile, but reality will kick in sooner or later
and long distance relationships are really hard to maintain, especially when u reach an age where u have certain physical needs as well

been there, done that, didn't work, at least not for me
but again, that's just my opinion, maybe it works for some ppl, i've just never met them

my opinion is that no one should have an online relationship. i mean friends online is ok but don't take it past that because its not goiong anywhere and you have no idea if the person actually "feels" the same way about you...
stick to physical relationships..they're much better. you get to know the person, see the person, touch the person...taste the person...
