This stuff is frightening; they probably have their super-advanced technology charging toward us and we are clueless.

On the other hand, they are probably like us and don't know how to beat the light barrier.

I believe in extraterrestrial life , would be too cocky to think we are alone in a huge universe. We are just a small piece of the cosmos.
Another thing is if they have visited us or not. There are some intriguing stories about Flight pilots and UFO's. But when it comes to aliens stories there are too many freaks involved. So It's difficult to take the topic seriously.

If Aliens do visit us I see almost no chance that they are going to use violence against us or be a threat. In order for a civilization to have reached the technological point to travel through space in that way they would have to have learned to be peaceful or else they would have destroyed their own civilization long before that.

Strongly agree.

It just pisses me off when people believe all that bullshit.

I've read that many earth like planets have been discovered, but of course are light-years away from Earth. So it'll take like 10,000th's of years to get there lol

I find the idea of aliens fascinating and I believe 100% that aliens do exist. There's more evidence to back that up than God. It's ignorant as hell to think we are alone in this universe, you mean to tell me out of the ENTIRE universe that WE are the only ones out here? Lmao.

If any of you have played Mass Effect, I believe we'll eventually get to that point. Interacting with aliens and even mating with them. It won't be in our lifetime obviously. I love Mass Effect simply because of all the alien interactions.

Yeah...but you gotta imagine, if there are civilizations that have been around for thousands of years longer than ours, their technology has to be...unfathomable.

I'm content with just finding out I'm part of a video game, a big ass multiplayer RPG. It must be said though, the guy who made me as a character fuckin' sucks at this game.

Oh yeah I agree, but I'm just saying our technology isn't as advanced to get us from point A to point B(alien planet) lol

Oh man I died at the bold'd part

Not even an alien like Liara? She's pretty awesome lol. I think mating with aliens that are similar to humans isn't entirely ridiculous.

Well...I don't think it's "ignorant" to think that, it's been years and years and years with people talking about aliens and we don't have any physical evidence of an ALIEN. But I mean, the way pyramids are aligned and so many of the world's weird structures...it makes so much more sense. One would suggest God = aliens, which actually wouldn't be too far-fetched because they could have essentially created us (assuming the theory of alien intervention on early hominids is what made us humans).

I don't think it'd be possible to mate with aliens though, unless they were very close to us. Is it possible to mix chimps and humans? They're out closest relatives so if we can't with them, then aliens would have to be even closer.

Yeah, I mean they'd have to be somewhat humanoid at least. Like the asari from Mass Effect for example...they are incredibly human-like with only a few alien features.

Hell no lol. That's why they'd have to be somewhat humanoid, with at least the essential sex organs. This comment had be laughing for real though.

I just hope if we ever do meet aliens, they're nice to us. I think it's very possible we're bi-products of alien intervention though, I'm not saying it's legitimate but if we end up finding out it's true, I wouldn't be too surprised. Another thing though...if aliens ever visited us, they could literally tell us anything about Earth's history and we would have to believe it.

What if they got a dark twisted humor and troll us about Earth's history?

Exactly.

Let's assume for a second that the religious god, God, is actually true and we just didn't know it yet. Aliens could just come here, say they helped mold Earth's history and the development of humankind, out the window goes God and all religions - even if God and religion IS legitimate.

They could troll us so hard.

Definitely. So you'd think we start worshipping the aliens if this is ever to happen?
