Happiness: Being content with your own being and how you're living.

I don't prefer to take it to the extreme and say that you would be willing to die this way, or that if something changed you'd be fine with that. It's just simply not always true.

How smart can you really be if you can say you're truly content/happy with everything? If things don't piss you off/depress you from time to time, you can't be a very interesting person.

And while we're on that subject, I can't stand the whole "you should be happy for them!" bullshit. Some dickhead usually says this about some couple getting married or something. "Hey man, don't be like that, you should be happy for them!" What's there to be happy about?

Oh, and that's another thing: fuck weddings. Standing around, pretending to give a shit about the two people getting married...go to hell.

Think of all the time you have to waste just to see two people get married. The bullshit engagement party...how selfish and repugnant. "Please celebrate our celebration with us!" Then the honeymoon. "So now that we're done celebrating our celebration, and done celebrating our marriage, we're going away to celebrate it all!" Please die on the flight to your honeymoon.

It's really fulfillment.

A lot of people can be happy short-term when they do some drugs and shit or fuck a bitch.

If you can keep that going for a long time and be satisfied with your life that's true happiness.

The irony of true happiness is you're not always happy.

This is very accurate. It's any sort of fulfillment. Can be positive or negative.

Doing shit you love and enjoy and being around people that don't give you high blood pressure every 10 minutes. You're not gonna be eternally happy, that's impossible due to the nature of the world and the people who live in it, but I believe happiness is something that comes from you, and it's not always the result of materialistic things.

Damn, happiness is tough to define. For me, it's just feeling like things are good in my life and I am confident with my future. I find myself looking towards the future a lot more now, and missing things while I'm "in the moment". This makes happiness, for me, kind of fleeting. Everything passes eventually and then are the days when there's not much to look forward to.

As for what makes me happy, I dunno...boobies?
