^If you lose a large amount of weight there's no avoiding the excess skin. With the Biggest Loser obviously the time frames in which those people lose weight aren't actually what we're made to believe. The real part is the end result i.e saggy skin and stretch marks.
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

I lost 60 pounds last summer because I was fucking unhappy with the way I looked. People noticed and my confidence soared.

Now I'm eating more in college and not going to the gym as much as I would like and I'm building a fat pouch around my stomach again.

Shit's gonna change next semester though...

As for the topic... obese people are so fucking polar. You either find the assholes or the jolly fucks.

It's different from alcoholics and smoker because genetics plays a role in obesity as well.

I think we should help people who are addicted (as we do).

As it isn't entirely their fault.

For some people, staying in shape is much more difficult than others, for a variety of reasons.
Gender, Age, Occupation, Time Management, Finances, Upbringing

But these only serve as excuses. If a person is REALLY dedicated to getting into shape, it doesn't matter if they are an older woman with a sedentary job with low income, 3 kids, very little free time, and a childhood where she was never taught how to eat right. I've seen people turn complete 180 on themselves.

No doubt, these factors make it harder. But it's still possible (not easy though) , if you want to work hard for it.
"I take yall diss as endearment - I love it when I hear it
Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"

Genetics plays a role but it's just setting up an interval for how much you're going to weigh at certain times in your life. Some people like me don't have to worry about their weight (for now) because no matter what I do I will never get fat. Some people's interval is a lot higher and they get fat a lot easier but no matter what they can still always do something about it. It's their choice to stay fat.
You think your personal attacks make up for what you lack?

I've been pretty thin my whole life, but I've gained close to 20 pounds over the past year or so. College, man.

I'm about 5'4 and weight around 138.
