I think it depends on how patient the person is. If you like to look at things from other peoples perspective and try to be understanding then marriage is probably possible for you. But I know that most people arent like that, so they can say screw marriage, its probably best for them.

I feel that today, if you're over 18 and still a virgin there's something wrong with you. People lose their virginity at the tender age of 15 and even 14, and in my opinion it's just wrong. They're still kids at that age, why's the rush? It's like they have sex just to feel accepted by society, cause sex is everywhere.
But still, sex is a serious matter. It demands mental matureness and matureness in general. It requires responsibility too, and at 14-15 I don't think these kids have that. That's why we hear about tons of cases of teenage pregnancies. I mean, come on. That's just sad.
But anyhow, I think you should lose your virginity to a person you love & respect, whenever you mentally, emotionally and physically feel prepared for it.
Teens at the age of 16-17 are sometimes ashamed to admit they're virgins, and I don't see why's that. I mean, it's still young.
I wouldn't say "wait until marriage" because these days it's not very possible (I mean it is if both sides want it I guess it's doable) but let's be realistic, most people are not going to wait until they're married. I'd just say wait to the right person or the right time.

I think virginity is not so important for us europeans.when I see these disney stars with chastity rings
nobody has those rings in my country and if someone were to happen to put it ,people may laugh.
I respect all options but here is not very common for people to wait marriage,unless you are extremely religious,also the average age of marriage here(Im in barcelona,spain) is close to 30 years..so imagine wait till then...
personally I think it's a mistake to wait for marriage because to be honest the first time is not the best,due to inexperience so that could be disappointing...
