Goverment Sterilization

I'm being dead serious with this.

When every baby is born they are sterilized by the goverment. Then when they are 21 they can take a test and if they pass they are unsterilized. This way no retards will be having kids and polluting the gene pool. There will be no teenage pregnancies ruining kids lives and the crack head prostitutes in the hood can do whatever they want and not have to worry about being preganent cause they obviously won't be able to pass the test. There will be no need to abortions either. I'm not saying make it a hard test just make it so that like the bottom 15-20% of the population can't pass.

I think after three or four generations of this crime rate will go down and testing in schools will go up. Population also won't rise as much so there won't be as many homeless people and unemployed people.

I think that's alike to the idea Nazis had back in the days, it was called 'eugenics' - they planned on creating a "clean" german race. Also in 30's and 40's the Nazi goverment would sterilize (or simply kill) mentally disabled people ("T-4 Action" - "Vernichtung von lebensunwertem Leben" which means 'getting rid of uwnorthy life') to prevent any further proliferation of genetic and mental diseases. And really, those weren't only the mentally disabled people. Those were people with Huntington's disease (who can lead a relatively normal life until like.. 30 or 40), epileptics or simply disabled.


Do you really think it's the sort of idea you'd like to see happening again? For me that'd be the exact same thing. I don't want to sound like a religious freak and my opinion has nothing to do with religion (I'm agnostic) and I'd love to live to a day when we get rid of genetic diseases, but you can't simply forbid someone with Huntington's to have a baby. It's their choice and the chance of passing it is 50% if I remember correctly.

As for the crime rate.. Please, this has to be the most stupid argument I've heard. Also the testing in schools. People may be disabled physically or mentally, but you'd be surprised how talented they might be. Just look at autistic kids, some of them are geniuses. Schizophrenics? John Nash won a Nobel Prize in mathematics.

My friend's got an autistic brother, he's an ok guy. It's obvious he probably won't have kids, cause he's gonna need someone to take care of him for his entire life, but he's still a person and a human being and you can't take the right of having a kid from him.

Teenage pregnancies? How about you teach all the 15-years old whores about contraception methods? I'm sorry, but what's happening right now is just ridiculous. Girls and guys, they're both fucked up in the head and simply DO NOT think, and yet, they are not mentally disabled. They're just brainwashed and blunt.


The better way of dealing with this is actually teaching people how to welcome them to the society and integrate with them, instead of making them look like some sort of weird creatures from fantasy movies.

Yes you'd be getting rid of that stuff because you're strengthening the gene pool but nobody has to die. What percentage of retarded people are even fit to have a child? John Nash (you're example, not mine) is an outlyer when talking about mental disorders btw. It took him years to get ahold of his disease and not many people are as mentally capable as him. I'm pretty sure he even put his wife/child at risk a few times in the process.

So if they can't have kids, why sterilizing them in the first place? I mean I get his point, I really do, but the problem doesn't lay in the people themselves but in the way the society perceive them - as something bad that should be killed off. Honestly, probably 95% of them won't have kids anyways. And it's not like healthy parents have healthy kids only. These things happen due to mutations in genes which sometimes happen totally spontaneously, so we should put more effort into prenatal exams.

I'd rather sterilize people who already have 15 kids and still reproduce, because apparently religion says contraception is SO WRONG, so they keep on making babies who suffer later because parents simply can't provide them with basic stuff like food, clothes and books to school.

As for the people who not graduate.. it's not like sterilizating them will solve the problem, because it's not a genetic problem. The soultion is changing the way they think and unless we find some way of brain transplant, I don't see any other way of solving this one.

If someone has an IQ of 80 and doesn't care about school and dropped out and is now a drug addict do you think there kid is goona do well in school? No. But if two smart, good people have kids then they are much more likely to lead productive lives. I'm not saying it's 100% perfect and there won't be any bad apples to good trees but it will get rid of all the bad apples to bad trees.

I agree that it sounds like a great idea, but would be wrong to give that kind of power to the gov't. I feel that they would abuse it and search for other ways to control citizens.

But what does dropping out of school has to do with anything? Kids get brainwashed by various things, it's not like the parents are the only influence. Of course they should control the process and pass the most important values, but as we all know it's not like that always. I see where you're coming from though, and I sort of agree, but funny thing is that kids from rich families easily turn to drugs too, for example. And you can't forbid a family have a kid, if let's say they're poor or didn't graduate.

I don't think it'd turn into what you'd like it to become, stupid ideas spread around really fast.
