this is worse than any track i have ever done...and my tracks are lame as fuck, i hope the guy coming out to this song is coming out of a closet...and i hope he's not a pro fighter on tv, that would be awful for him

It's pretty cool that you were able to make a song for an MMA fighter, great job on that. The lyrics sound good and you have quite a few multis in there which make it sound nice. Now for the negative, to be honest, I can't stand the chorus. It's okay for a chorus to be repetitive but if it's going to be, it better sound amazing. The chorus seems to have the same mixing as the verses and doesn't stand out in any way except for the fact that it is repetitive and annoying in my opinion. Also, the quality isn't very good, the voice is too loud compared to the beat, they don't mix together very well. It could be because the MMA fighter gave you the beat but the beat sound really low quality... That would explain why I think the vocals and beat don't mix together very well.

Triple, lol... I mixed this song. Oof.

I added loads of compression on the hook and reverb/delay on the adlibs. You can sorta hear it, especially near the end where the beat fades out after the hooks. I suck at mixing LOL

Yeah not his best song, but it's not awful. I don't he even likes this song anyway haha

I listened to his other songs and his voice seems to blend with the beat much better in those songs. I honestly think the beat is like a lo-fi beat, something just sounds really off about it and then since the beat sounds off the vocals automatically sound off

The hook was pretty generic but you had some nice lyrics in the verses.

don't really like it myself tbh but the guy i did it for (jamie gates) is happy with it so my jobs complete lol. I had to try base it on what he would like so it's actually a song he'd walk out too. like he picked the beat which i didn't like, and told me the type of shit to talk about.

I just thought I'd post here and get some feedback for me doing something different lol, but thanks guys for the comments
