This is a little track I put together about suicide

I wrote, produced and performed it within a couple of hours,it is dedicated to my suicidal friend who has often talked about ending it all to me, though it is supposed to be somewhat inspirational

That's cool that you did this for your friend, the beat is pretty good and the quality of the regular-rapping is is very good compared to most "Youtube rappers" for lack of a better term.

That being said, I feel like sometimes you sounded like you were reading off paper with the lyrics rather than putting emotion in to them, but again, sometimes. However, while it can work when handled lightly, the distortion on the hook is rough-sounding to the point of it being unpleasant.

Did you sidechain your vocals? Everytime you speak the instrumental dips.

Nope, no sidechaining, i dont even hear the dipping tbh, but maybe my ears just arent sharp enough
