I feel like Em always liked Fuzz, even when Proof and Bizarre had beef with him, that's probably why he was so quick to sign him, as far as we know Em did it and there was no interruptions from Jimmy or Paul.

I know Eminem did like him when Fuzz and Proof weren't getting along, because that's when No One's Iller was recorded. That's why Swifty is on that song instead of Proof.

I don't know if it had escalated to a beef yet, or what the status was with Bizarre, but Proof and Fuzz weren't seeing eye to eye at the time.

Eminem, Bizzy, and Fuzz had gotten the studio time, and Eminem was trying to get ahold of Proof. Then, instead of pursuing it further, they got Swifty instead, in part because Proof and Fuzz didn't get along. Em, Bizzy, and Swift all had their parts written, and Fuzz wrote his right on the spot.

If he still can write like that, it would certainly be a boost to that group of guys.
