Were D12 carried by Em too much?

Eminem produced the majority of Devil's Night and D12 World with the exception of a few songs. He did the majority of the hooks himself on both albums, Obviously rapped verses on the majority of both albums. We got classic production on Devil's Night of course but that was Eminem who did that so overall were they carried by his artistic brilliance too much looking back?

This... he came back for them & helped 'em out. They deserved it & it paid off. Unfortunately they still deserve one more album but it's probably too late.

He's definitely done a lot more than anyone else form the group but all crews have their front men... that's just part of the game. He was way too big at the time so having another rep & carrying another act was easy... he should have even done more back then. Outz or BME album before TMMLP would have definitely been on point.

It would be incredibly stupid to not utilize that asset if you want your group to do well. Devils Night had heavier Eminem presence than D12 world because he needed to get them known, then D12 world was more a group effort because using the Eminem factor had managed to get them noticed.
