He's done the absolute best thing he could have in regards to how Radioactive was received...
Many would be too proud to admit they compromised or try to rectify it... he's been all the way open with it and because of that, we believe him more this time around; he knows it was bullshit and that it ain't the way to make a classic, just makes me all the more excited for Love Story.
I'm sooooooooooooooo glad Radioactive 'failed' (relatively speaking) too... because IF any of those records were huge and it had the kind of impact executives were trying to engineer... pfffshh... we may have lost Yela to bullshit for good, because he would have blown up off of compromising and probably kept on that path since it would have been responsible for his success.
Radioactive going down like it did is the best thing that could have happened; the only annoying thing is... that fucking title and the concept and the imagery n shit... and some of the tracks... it really had the potential to be a fucking classic. So I'm annoyed that all the good elements were wasted and that it's forever tainted, like Relapse... it's like ffs guys, just stop fucking compromising, when has a classic or lasting impact ever come from that fucking shit. Never.
It's like... that should have been his introduction and you should have been able to look back like "wow remember Radioactive" and associate a whole time period to Yela's initial impact like Em or Outkast or whoever. That part is a shame, but all that matters is that he's on a true path now.
Can't wait for LS yo. #BaseExcitement.
