I think for whatever reason, it's harder to find good music these days. Back in the day, you didn't have to look too hard to find Led Zeppelin. They were on the radio. Now it's different.
I find good music by using last.fm, searching for my favorite artist, and then clicking on Similar Acts or whatever. Or I look at the Users Also Bought list on iTunes when I make a purchase. Sometimes it's a half hour rabbit hole that magically takes me to some band I can actually enjoy.
