Bon Iver

[Slimm]

Bon Iver (pronounced /boʊniˈvɛr/[3]) is the name of American indie folk singer-songwriter Justin Vernon's current band and most notable music project to date. The band now also consists of Michael Noyce, Sean Carey, and Matthew McCaughan. The name, Bon Iver, is a play on the French "bon hiver" (good winter). Vernon independently released Bon Iver's debut album, For Emma, Forever Ago in July 2007, the majority of which was recorded while spending three months in a remote cabin in Northwestern Wisconsin.

I got his full album and this EP called 'blood bank' and love all the songs. He wrote 'For Emma, forever Ago' (first album) when he and his gf broke up and he locked himself in that cabin with just instruments and recording stuff.

I downloaded his album last night, and i'm in love with it lol. My favourite song is Flume (i think that's what it's called) and still skinny love, but flume is just that little bit more. But yeah, they're all awesome.
