This song was always one of my favorites off of the soundtrack; I personally liked it better than Lose Yourself. It's a very personal song, and the way he tells the whole storyline of the movie is perfect. Production is nice, and the lyrical content is typical for that time period.
"Wish that I could be the daddy neither one of us had
But I'm still runnin' from somethin' I never wanted so bad"
Those lines summarize the angst of Jimmy Smith...and the song is like a narrative through his struggle. Very strong track, perfectly suited for the OST.
