It is like saying that no comedy movie has ever been "deep and profound". What annoys me the most though is the fact that it is a personal opinion and not really objective as it should be in an encyclopedia.

^ yeah, as HipHopDane said, a part of wikipedia is like a bunch of personal thoughts...
so the text on it is kinda insignificant...

Perhaps parts of it, and in regards to his normal singles which I feel would also include the videos as well since they become much of what the single represents, but overall I agree with you guys :y:

the hook alone is already "deeper" than any of his other first singles and thats where the message comes from on a first single most of the time, or at least thats what the plan is

personally, i don't like any other first single of his besides Not Afraid (excluding Lose Yourself obviously)

^ Same here, I mean I liked My Name Is,The Real Slim Shady,Without Me but I HATED Just Lose It & We Made You.

Not Afraid was definitely better than all of these, and I think it was more deep and profound just because of the fact that it was serious.

I mean it when I say there is almost literally NOTHING profound about Not Afraid. Even We Made You had a deeper message, and I'm not kidding.
