I'm not saying the song is bad btw...far from it, It does take guts to say the sorta stuff he said in the song but it's nothing new to me, he's said just about all of this stuff before:

-Dissing one of previous songs or albums
-Hinting at the fact it seems like the end is near/hinting at retirement
-Talking about how/why he made up his persona
-Talking about his struggle with fame when he blew up
-Feeling apologetic about what he's said in the past
-The legacy he will leave behind
-Having an inspirational message at the end

It's a good track, I wouldn't say great because the lyrics are nothing new

If repeating subject matter takes away from a song for you then more Em albums is probably a bad idea tbh. The more albums he puts out the less he is going to have to say, regardless of how well done the song is.

He's always got a load of new stuff to say on each album he releases and I was very pleased with the content in MMLP2. I just feel this particular song doesn't offer anything new but I still like it and it's not boring or anything.
It's not even that big of a complaint lol

that second verse... so good. I take some issue with him switching up the flow so drastically so often with his more recent music. I like it, but sometimes it makes it harder to appreciate the song as a whole. Like the stopping and going stuff, throws me off hahaha.


I love his lyricism nowadays, and he seems comfortable in his aggressive delivery again ( as he had with MMLP2).

Cannot wait for this album to drop.
