Talkin 2 Myself

So I have been listening to this song a bit recently and I think Ive developed a good appreciation for it. One of the few bright spots I believe that was on Recovery.

I enjoy this song quite a bit. It may be a little too apologetic at points, but I feel its overall well written and I like the hook.

Whenever someone reviews a Recovery track, they always say it's one of the only good songs on the album lol

I loved this song the first time I heard it. I loved the beat right off the bat, and how honest he was on it. But the more I listened to it, like most of recovery, I didn't like as much after time. This song is different than other Recovery tracks in that I don't dislike it for the puns or punches, it's just that I don't like how he is apologizing on it. I get that he is more mature and I want to hear that from him, like on Guts Over Fear, MMLP2, etc, but I just didn't like the stark contrast to his previous work after listening to this song multiple times. But I did love it the first several times I listened to it, and I still like the rhyme scheme in verse 2 b/c I feel like that is very difficult to pull off.
