Did you ever decide on a major? I think I'm changing mine to Communications this week.

I came to school to study Entertainment Industry, which is a unique field offered here, simply because music is my only passion and I wanted to do something with it, but the business is so cut throat and hard to get into.

Still not sure what kind of career I'd like to get out of the Communications major but it covers such a broad range. Hopefully my advisor can help me out with some ideas when I talk to him.

My major is Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, minor in psych. I would've done a full marketing major if my school offered it, but alas...tiny liberal arts school, oh well. So I'm suffering through the econ classes and waiting for the marketing and advertising stuff - that's what interesting to me, that's what I want to do.

Oddly, I suck at math but I'm doing relatively well in my accounting class (one of two I have to take).


And as far as majors and careers and stuff...my econ professor kindly pointed out to us today (after handing back our midterms, which the majority of the class failed) that crane operators make $100,000+ and are in high demand and don't exactly require much education. Isn't he just a nice, wonderful, encouraging fellow?

I decided to join armed forces and it was the best decision in my life, i got respect from mates, parents,grandparents, even my teachers from school. I can buy everything i want. and now that this thread is active again.. I have 2 months to decide what I want. WHAT DO I CHOOOOOOOSE I'm so clueless.

I've already told you about that but forgot to answer then. I'm doing Languages/Litterature with English and Spanish. I'm not that good in spanish but since you are, it should work well for you.

Like DA said though, there's a lot of typing and reading to do. I have courses of history of spanish/english litterature, and analysis of texts, books, etc..

I feel like helping you out a little more, IF YOU LIKE ENGLISH AND LANGUAGE, huge emphasis on 'if', then by all means study English literature, worst outcome you teach at a couple schools with a good diploma, I want to teach at a University, I'm also doing Journalism and there's a lot of publishings in this country so yeah i could be a freelancer or i could get employed full time...

Some of the texts i get to analyze are by Nietzche so there is some psychology to it, some Frued as well, I'm in a debate class, a writing skills class, a British literature and an American literature class along with my introduction to Journalism class, there's definitely some freedom to those majors if that's important for you, oh and fucking phonetics
