For me (Ive only heard the first 3 albums of his, the rest ive just heard a few songs from each one) -
The College Dropout (masterpiece 10/10, classic)
Late Registration (Great album 9.5/10,modern classic)
Graduation (Great album 9.5/10, modern classic)
MBDTF (have heard 6 songs)
808&H (have heard 4 songs)
GMC (havent heard a song)


IMO, Kanye was at his best in the first 3 years before he got all super crazy ya know?

Also, Ive heard a lot of praise for MBDTF, please explain to me what its about and why you/people love it so much?

Also I guess I should add Ive only liked Kanye for 2 months now. :coffee:

Wanted to say this. You can't judge an album if you've only listened to half the disc. That's like watching half a movie, not knowing what really happens, but saying "wow k this is wack". It's not a fair judgement if you haven't experienced the entire thing in full because what you consider the good part might not have come up yet.

Didn't SajN and Canadapure both tell you to stop making these threads/put them in the Hip Hop Reviews section?

I like his stuff - and have a few of his albums - but I don't think he's ever made a classic.

Purely because I feel like his rapping ability doesn't much how high calibre the production usually is - with that being said he has made many classic songs 'Hey Mama', 'Runaway', 'Gold Digger' just to name a few.
