What Inspires You & What Style Are You Aiming For?

My inspiration comes from wanting to leave something tangible behind for future generations to remember me by.

What style? When I record my guitar tracks, I pretty much play in a traditional 90's death metal style with a bit of White Zombie groove added in.

My style is basically what ever drama or good shit that is happening in my life...

I always write when I'm alone and when it's night time usually in the AM hours...

I usually record a song on the same night as I write it...

I get inspired by music in general though...WHen I hear an Amazing work of art I always like to see if I can achieve that level of greatness

i'ma laid back person in real life......and how i rap all laid back and calm is pretty much me.....i'ma trying to perfect my style where i could rap in the same manner that i usually act....and effect ppl's emotions and thoughts......i ain't tryna be one of those overhyper rappers...or go for shock value...or make a dance.....i'ma just be myself.....speak my mind...and hopefully thats what people like about me.....i ain't tryna aim for "underground" or try to be "mainstream"....people put too much thought into that shit and try to hard..........if i heard a popish beat i like...i use it...if i hear an underground beat i like....i use it.........its music....if we stay boxed into one style or closed minded...theres no point in doing it....

I would give audio a try but my family is very anti hip hop plus anti money for that kind of stuff

Summed up perfectly. Just do what you feel. I may feel for puchlines one day, the next i could be talking concepts the next a fun laid back tarck

I have two reasons

1) Cause I feel like expressing myself, seems to fit me good to rap it out

2) Inspire others via music like music has inspired me

I need something to help me get inspired to do audio, I think the empty house in the summer will help, I really wanna be decent at this shit.

the style I wanna aim for is meaningful songs, not punchline bullshit or be a hardass or anything, I want to have my writing stick out in my audio, hopefully it all works out

that is EXACTLY what i go for. i don't wanna be the most lyrical, i don't wanna have the dopest punchlines. I wanna make a song that you can feel within you, something that can hit home for people.

that's why i do a lot of love songs, people who have significant others can relate to it. it's also why i do songs about being sad/upset/generally feeling down, because that's something EVERYONE can relate to.

But every now and then it's fun to do a more upbeat/club track that people can have a good time listening to.
