Gotta disagree with you man

Explaining bars is a must, as crash did it with the links as well. (Unless you just hate it at the bottom, then OK) but I do it too, some people would have missed a personal, or not got a punch, but be to lazy to research, and there goes a high points category.

Also crash had zero personals, like he made a point of not trying, he states all he had was nose jokes...

Here's what I didn't like about Trimss's verse:

- He explained his bars at the end

Well, to be fair.. Spyder told me that having annotations is better because I sent it without them at first. (I think he can confirm it)

- Generic gay jokes and references to dropping the soap

Just like there are generic "ugly" jokes in Crashband's diss.. However I agree with you, I honestly wasn't very inspired and knew very little about him so gay jokes were all I could come up with.

- You're going to make him say "sorry" for you taking his blade...seems like a forced set-up. You should have placed this set-up before the Atmosphere line (which was the punchline but it wasn't insulting at all, it was just an empty reference)

Yep, I understand.

- Crush his glass house with your mad mouth? What the fuck? Yes, it's an Atmosphere reference, but it makes no sense. "Mad" is a ridiculous adjective for someone's mouth. Shake his feet?

I'll be honest right there, I couldn't be bothered to find a good rhyme at all. That line is pure filler and stupid.

- Ehhh...you could have done more with the "Crash Bandicoot" name flip. The mask on the face = ugly idea was good (not that I've even seen him), but not executed well. Even something simple like "Look at his ugly mug, did someone stab it with blades?/Someone tell Crash Bandicoot to keep the mask on his face" would have worked better.

Can't argue with that.

battle wasnt that great really. i told him to explain bars cause i literally got nothing he said when he sent it, without them i promise no one would have understood that "mask line".
Crash im pretty sure wrote this in five seconds, cause he said he hadnt started, then sent it the same night sooo. i knew the personals would lack and it showed. that being said trimss wasnt that great.
i think Crash has been watching enough Dont Flop that some comedy soaked in, some parts made me chuckle so i gave him punches. some decent streams of multies, and some scheme switches.

so crash gets this battle for me 8-4

I gave Trimss the personals because of the attempted name flip and mask line/slik line. Honestly, the Slik's hairline bar was one of my favorite parts of the battle. But in terms of writing, it goes to crash because I think he's just naturally a better writer. Nothing really great about the battle, crash's verse had some really funny moments, the Hey Arnold reference killed me. Also appreciated he addresses the lack of personals he was bringing and all, made it seem self aware that he was purposely going a different route.

Trimss, you had some nice ideas man. You just gotta work on your execution a bit. If you could've set some of these bars and punches up better it would've been a tighter battle. Some of your punches are nice in thought but you just put them there, so they end up hitting flat. Just work on delivery dude.
