and it should be same for guys as it is for girls and both should protect themselves and

its not an important factor to me but if someone stays a virgin until marriage then more power to you.

well i really can't speak for/on anyone else here besides myself because virginity could be a big thing to some people, but to me it's not that big of a deal it's not like the whole world is gonna change if u fuck for the first time, nothing new happends so why wait til u get married?

Virginity is a 'big deal' because people have portrayed it as a big deal. If it weren't for the 'stigma', there wouldn't even be a question about it. Anyway, most people figure out sex is nothing so sacrosanct around the time they go to college.

And yes, it is more special when someone means something to you. And yes, there is a huge difference between 'having sex' and 'making love'. And yes, making love > having sex. But having sex does not ruin making love.

I think waiting till marriage for sex is completely utter bullshit. Sex is just as a big of a deal as a lot of other things you learn about a person before marriage, so yes you should find out before marriage.

Now, do I think age matters? yes but what matters most is responsibility. Are you going to be stupid and not use a condom (unless she's on B.C. then I guess it's alright)? I feel like some people who are 18 years old are more ready and responsible to have sex than some 22 year olds, so that's why I feel age isn't THAT big of a deal.

When should one lose it? Well whenever you feel you are ready to, but you should know that if you fuck up, it's on you and no one else. If you're willing to take that responsibility and put it on your shoulder then the more to you, go have sex.

As a guy, you'd probably get a lot of shit for being a virgin (because well all guys want sex and if they haven't gotten it yet then ....)
