I think waiting till marriage for sex is completely utter bullshit. Sex is just as a big of a deal as a lot of other things you learn about a person before marriage, so yes you should find out before marriage.

Now, do I think age matters? yes but what matters most is responsibility. Are you going to be stupid and not use a condom (unless she's on B.C. then I guess it's alright)? I feel like some people who are 18 years old are more ready and responsible to have sex than some 22 year olds, so that's why I feel age isn't THAT big of a deal.

When should one lose it? Well whenever you feel you are ready to, but you should know that if you fuck up, it's on you and no one else. If you're willing to take that responsibility and put it on your shoulder then the more to you, go have sex.

As a guy, you'd probably get a lot of shit for being a virgin (because well all guys want sex and if they haven't gotten it yet then ....)

Since the value of virginity, as a society, is dynamic (it once meant something different than it does now), that shows there is noting sacrosanct or special about virginity. The 'value' of virginity is something fabricated by societies, just like the value of... lets say, the value of having blond hair and blue eyes was something fabricated by certain societies less than a century ago.

Growing up in the rough neighborhood i did, it was acceptable to lose it by the time one was 16 or so.
But i never saw it as being sluts, or tail chasers. Cause most of the time its done outta love, and the few percent who fuck drunk or to spite someone else......well they are the fucked up ones.

Yeah religion plays a huge part on it, im not going to lie. But i see virginity as something, made bigger than what it actually is. Why is it different to rub someones back when there achy, as to having sex? Pleasure is still the outcome, its human on human contact. I just find it odd that people blow this shit outta proportion.
