Lossless Audio Subforum?

How about a 'Lossless Audio Subforum' of the Download Central?

Why?
Well, I'm sure a lot of you have lost your original CDs (or something similar that prevents you from using the CD) and I think this would be very useful for those who want to have the songs in HQ back.

I can guarantee I'll post there regularly, and other members can contribute too.

Kinda pointless imo, no offence..i mean, we have the download requests section...and the actual download section..how would you determine what went in that particular section? if anyone had a request of a cd they lost for some reason or other, they'd post in the dl requests.. :-k

but maybe if they did request an album that would have been a lossless file to them, they just didn't feel the need to say? :unsure:

I just searched the DC and DR and no results were found for lossless audio.

I guess only a thread about lossless audio in the DC is better than a whole subforum.

No MP3.
Lossless audio data is music at its peak quality level.
Frankly, it's not that feasible, since the vast majority of internet music is in lossy MP3 data.

In other words, a lossless music file is the 'cleanest' file you can get.
Clearest mp3 bitrate is 320kbps
Lossless bitrate is ~1000kbps
I think it's main reason people buy CDs.

A million times yes! I don't think it deserves a subforum because most people don't care how their music sounds like, but I'm glad me and you think alike. A sticky thread is definitely needed.
