100% agree. I think ending the war is better for both America & Afghanistan :y:
They claim that I'm violent, just cause I refuse to be silent
These hypocrites are havin fits, cause I'm not buyin it
Defyin it, envious because I will rebel against
any oppressor, and this is known as self defense
I show no mercy, they claim that I'm the lunatic
But when the shit gets thick, I'm the one you go and get
Don't look confused, the truth is so plain to see
Cause I'm the nigga that you sell-outs are ashamed to be

If you don't have an opinion on the war, I would recommend you read about the Wikileaks articles which just came across.

Over 70,000 classified war documents leaked to the public.

And don't just read about the documents, read about the story behind the leak. Apparently, the person who leaked them (a US solider) confessed to an internet "hacker" about being the source of the leak. In his conversations he said something along the lines of:

Being in Afghanistan I lost the fantasy that we were the "good" and they were the "bad". I realized we were all just fighting for selfish, political reasons. We are both the "bad".

Btw, the war documents detail things such as civilian deaths (some documents even say things like: 3 female adults killed, 2 female children killed, 1 male child killed, etc). The documents show both American and Afghan and Taliban troops committing war crimes.

Its unbelievable. My faith in humanity has taken a big hit recently...

We went over there because the Taliban was working with Al-Queda. As far as I know they have broken ties, and thus our reason for being there now is to hold the peace. If they would stop shooting at our troops they would leave. If they want us gone so bad they have to make the first move.
I'mma be what I set out to be, without a doubt undoubtedly
And all those who look down on me I'm tearing down your balcony

Im english so im talking about british soldiers, but i know most of the (british) soldiers in Afghanistan dont want to leave, and there are a lot of reasons why but most want to stay. If the taliban take over Afghanistan then terrorists will have a safe place to go, making tragedies like 9/11 could happen again, and if the taliban take over Afghanistan, they could then decide to take over Pakistan and with a big enough force they could easily beat the Pakistani army. If that happened then the taliban would be in control of Pakistan's nuclear weapons, which would mean we're all f***ed.

I know soldiers are dying and there doesnt seem to be an immediate danger to us (and America) but if we pull out of Afghanistan then we're putting ourselves into some deep s***.

You are joking, right? What makes innocent Afghans worse people than US Soldiers?

There is always reports on the death on the American/British side but nothing reported about the innocents killed on the other side.

The way the media acts like out lives are far more important than others is sickening:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30trJ9NGAcA

"A bomb went off today, killing two British serviceman, 3 UN relief workers and a whole bunch of pakis"

That's comedy but the underlying message is so true. (btw the comedian, Frankie Boyle, got into a lot of shit for this because people heard the buzz words ("paki", "n*gger" and couldn't see that he was criticisng the racist hypocrisy within the media)

It's an illegal war.

9/11 was orchestrated, organised and carried out by the American and British Government, so the impending invasion of Afghanistan could be justified. This was so they could steal Afghanistan's natural resources. *cough* oil *cough*

Well jeez, aren't you just full of patriotism

I bet that bombing in Hiroshima was damn well worth it too right? U.S soldiers did stop dying afterfall

Fuckin retard :facepalm

And as for the thread, it's not really a war anymore but more of a battle against the Muslim extremist groups, it's been ongoing for like 8 years if I recall and obviously progession has slowed down drastically. Canadian's are really pissed off about it, they've tried to recall their troops but NATO is making them stay until 2014 :(

Cause the shit I hear is crazy
But your either getting lazy or you don't believe in you no more
Seems like your own opinions, not one you can form
Cant make a decision you keep questioning yourself
Second guessing and its almost like your begging for my help

The bombings on hiroshima and nagasaki were horrible but they did end the pacific war and thus the second world war. So it's not like they weren't worth it, I mean if killing so many people was ever worth it it would be to stop a world war, right?
