In the Quran itself, it's written.

Cuz ya see, to get rid of it, you have to burn it. Anything that has to do with the WORDS inside the quran, you can't just throw them in the rubbish bin. ya have to throw it first.

lol I had a feeling that's what you meant. But that's not for burning the whole Quran, it's for when you have a piece of paper with something holy written on it that you don't want to disrespect by throwing in the trash, but still want to get rid of. For example, if I read a newspaper and it mentioned 'Allah' I would rip out the little piece with 'Allah' written on it and burn it- while throwing the rest of the newspaper in the recycling bin. This is because for all I know the paper in the trash will be stepped on, spit on, come in contact with feces, etc- things that would disrespect the name of 'Allah.'

Burning the whole Quran is an act of disrespect so it doesn't really mean the same thing...although I think you're just being cheeky so lol.

Muslims do believe in Bibles. I believe in bibles too. It's strictly forbidden to a Muslim to burn, throw or cut a Bible or Qur'an because we Muslims believe that bible is a holy book from god just like Christians.


And about burning the Qur'an to get rid of it is right (it's ok). But when people do it to hurt Muslims is not okay.

It's clearly a stupid/ignorant thing to do that no normal person would support. But I think it's a little funny how countless bibles have been burned with little to no western outcry and one Quaran is planned to be burned and everyone flips out. It's wrong to burn any holy book, no matter what it is or who's doing it, but there's definitely a double standard.
