Don't get mixed up in that "It's popular and mainstream now so I'm bitter or" "I liked this artist before anyone new him or before this album".

Just pay attention to the artist and the product they put out, that's all that matters. Don't base what you like off of fans, base what you like off of the product.

This doesn't have much to do with Facebook as it does Eminem. I'm assuming you like Eminem because you voluntarily signed up on a message board revolving around him.

Facebook is the largest social network in the world by far and is a pretty accurate way to see the popularity and rise of stars and things like that. If it wasn't Facebook, it would be something else. It just happens to be the network that is most popular so that is what we are using.

On another note, if you don't like Facebook, don't bother posting here then. You're only bumping this topic and getting it more views. If you don't have something actually worth while to add to the discussion then don't bother posting.
