Where can I find the official sales of The MMLP?

Postby DanWS » Mar 1st, '11, 22:20

Hey does anyone know the official site that tracks album sales in the US? I'm looking to find how many albums the MMLP in particular has sold. Thanks!

Nielsen Soundscan website tracks sales but it costs to view i think.

The latest update i have is:

EMINEM - MARSHALL MATHERS LP - 10,346,824 - 6th Feb 2011

It has also sold an additional 1,540,000 sold at BMG Music Clubs but Soundscan/Billboard doesn't include BMG sales.

Thanks for the help dude :y: How did you get that info? I'm trying to find a link to them stats as this is for an assignment so I need to provide a source for what I'm writing. I went on the Nielsen website and can't navigate where the soundscan charts are on it - any ideas?

I'm also looking for evidence that MMLP sold over 7.9 million in the year 2000 - I've found this link http://www.avrev.com/home-theater-news/ ... 3-com.html - which might be good enough, but I'd still like to locate the official Nielsen soundscan source.

Thanks again!

Yeah its hard to find links for his older albums in comparison to Relapse & Recovery where there're loads of links all over the place. There is this Chart Watch link from a couple of weeks ago which has updated sales for The Marshall Mathers LP at (10,341,000).

Business Wire has Nielsen Soundscan sales and is a strong source this may help, they have decade end sales for MMLP at 10,216,000. Should be towards the bottom of the page.

I was always under the impression he was less popular in Canada. Like I never hear people talking about time at school. Drake seems to have more fans.

Are you serious? Depends i guess. My school alot of people listen to him. I hear his songs alot. Dont know what say but he has always been big here.

and i live in a small town with 3,983 people i dont know how you not hear him played alot in city.

Maybe its just because people in small town know each other more.
