Man, it's either you feel it or you don't. Nobody can just tell you how to write, you know? You've got to feel that, and know that what you are writing is good shit. Don't worry about past work, it's old. If you keep trying to get to something you used to have, you'll fail. You've got to just work it out man, keep writing and writing. Take time with pieces, look it over and over and over and over and over until you've got it as perfect as possible. That's really the only advice to be given, the rest is up to you my dude.
