A rhyme that you may not have noticed because it's executed so poorly. I fucking hate how he does that stuttering shit now. It's so lazy. He does the same thing on "Fast Lane": guess who's back in t-t-town. D-d-d-drown. I also hate how he feels the need to continue on from Obie/Royce's last rhyme. It just boxes him in. It's stupid.
By the way, sad to say, but Obie > Eminem on this track.
Amadeo wrote:Ah, thanks. All those years I've had the lyrics wrong. I never really paid much attention to the lyrics due to a lack of interest.
I've only recently discovered his homage to the Superman line as well: "leap tall buildings with a single bound." Blame my lack of familiarity with comic books. The only line I recall from Superman is "look! It's a bird! It's a plane!"
Come to think of it, "you try" and "new wife" definitely sounds intended.
What about this, from the third verse:
I'm not fazed, I hang around big stars all day
I don't see what the big deal is anyway
You're just plain ol' Marshall to me
^ It's either that or something else going on in this section. There can't be a section with barely any rhymes when it's Eminem you're talking about.
