The whole reason that came up is because we were saying it wouldnt happen, and would be considered homophobic. Learn to read, then think about what we (or I at least) were (was) actually saying.

It wouldn't happen because there's a different set of circumstances concerning the situations of straight and gay people in terms of discrimination, not because gay people are just more apt to have a parade that's completely unnecessary due to their natural flamboyant tendencies.

I dont mind people being openly gay, and i dont mind pride in being gay or anything like that. I just feel that gay people could find a less intrusive / in your face way of showing their sexuality. I dont really need to know about it, nor do i really care about it when i do know. I know two gay guys (one at my school, one is a... third cousin i think) and im cool with them, neither of them are intrusive or anything with their sexuality or anything and im cool with it.
Its when im in a shop or something and people are doing some march or something, and i have to listen to them, there i nothing else i can hear over them. Whenever i am made to do something, i dont really like it, so them being so in your face with their demonstration just annoys me.


For the several thousanth time, i have nothing wrong with homosexuality or anything like that, and im not actively opposed to the marches either, i would just prefer they use some other means of demonstrating (ie. the internet or something like that, its pretty easy to make a youtube video then post it on twitter or a few forums, then people will choose to see it and will actually pay attention).
