I saw that on other forums, that can help new members to stay and not to feel lost.

I explain so a member can adopt new members for a certain amount of time and help them and answer to all their questions by pms,

and check them around the forum, tell them what they are allowed to do, if their thread is on the good section etc....

that can be a bit different, i don't know but i see a lot of new members posting just once or twice and never again or don't understand how many posts they need to have for posting without to be checked.

And they don't read the rules, don't know how to embed videos, where their posts don't count and a lot of other things, or just how to work the forum, plus they know nobody when they register here then that's always cool if they know at least one member.

yeah i know that's funny but i don't think they are all aftermathers and not the last two but whatever trolls or not they add a bit of activity, all their threads makes new discussions between the others members and like you know about Eminem there is nothing special to say, or nothing already discussed at least one hundred times.

So this is like having a kid but without childbirth ? I'm afraid I would raise another useless member.

I don't think this would work because there are not many new members, I think this could scare them, also the trolls could find some fun in this. You know...
